Our rope camera straps (model F8) are known for their unique design and look. Each leather ends, made from premium leather, are meticulously hand sewed in Montreal, Canada with strong waxed thread. The rope, double braided in Ontario, Canada, has been chosen for its softness and toughness.

Characteristics:
• Highly resistant 11 mm (7/16") polyester rope made in Ontario, Canada
• Rope with high UV resistance with a minimal stretch property
• Premium vegetable tanned leather
• Very resistant waxed threads (hand sewn)
• Total strap length is measured from both ends of split rings

Our guarantee doesn't cover any damage caused by neglect, improper care and use, accident, or excessive use. If treated well, leather can age beautifully for decades.

What the warranty does not cover

Normal wear and ageing: patina, darkening, softening, stretching, surface scratches, and the natural wear of brass, nickel and leather over time. These are characteristics of full-grain leather, not defects.
Damage from accident, neglect, or use other than the product's intended purpose.
Damage from improper care, including exposure to water, heat, solvents, oils, or products not intended for leather.
Products altered, repaired or modified by anyone other than Fab'.
Components we did not manufacture, including third-party connectors and quick-release systems.
Engraving and other personalisation.
Loss or theft.

Conditions

The warranty covers the original purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required.
Contact us before returning anything. Shipping to us is at your expense; we cover return shipping within Canada.
Our obligation is limited to repair, replacement, credit or refund of the purchase price as set out above. It does not extend to any other loss or damage.

Caring for your leather

Leather needs to be nourished to be well preserved. We recommend our Fab' leather balm.

All our products are handmade in Montreal, Canada, and we do everything possible to ensure that orders are processed and shipped as quickly as possible. Delivery times are estimated and may vary depending on the destination and chosen shipping method. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian/ Quebec holidays. I just got the strap and quality wise is perfect. I knew this because I’ve bought Fab straps before. I wanted the orange neon for a Leica SL and he modified the rings and added a loop extension. Thank you very much! You are such a nice artist!

Simple, comfortable and well made!

I have bought 4 rope straps from Fab Handcrafted, I really like them, I got them in black, I like simple things that work, are durable & well made. I cross carry my cameras and one great thing about these straps is that they fit very well, for me I use the medium size and the strap slides easy when I need to pull the camera to my eye, it doesn’t get stuck on your clothes like other camera straps.
I definitely recommend them!

Amazing strap! Love it! :)

Great product for a great price. Very comfortable. I did wear it while riding a Bixi bike in Montreal and it did give me slight rope burn on my neck so not recommended for that. However, everything else it’s been amazing. My one wish however is that it came with or there was available add-on of quick release so I could remove the strap whilst at home. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Gorgeous camera strap! A bit opulent even :) I would prefer a slightly thinner rope as an option for smaller cameras, although I knew what I was getting into when making the purchase. This will be right at home with my silver X100VI.
